Saddle Trail 5K

Embark on an invigorating 5K trail run through the lush, secluded beauty of San Bruno Mountain State Park in the heart of the Bay Area. This hidden gem offers runners an unforgettable experience, with its winding paths that take you up a steep hill and into the misty fog before descending quickly for a thrilling finish near the main restrooms.
Race day registration opens at 8am, giving participants ample time to warm up and explore the park's serene surroundings before the start of the race at 9am. The course is designed to challenge runners with its varying terrain, from steep ascents that test your endurance to fast downhill sections where you can pick up speed.
Please be aware there is a $6 parking fee for cars entering the park; as street parking in nearby areas is limited, carpooling is highly recommended to reduce traffic and enjoy the race day atmosphere. All runners will receive a finisher ribbon upon crossing the line, with special place ribbons awarded to the Top 5 Male, Female, and Non-Binary participants.
The event takes place rain or shine, offering an authentic San Bruno Mountain experience no matter the weather conditions. Unfortunately, refunds are not available for this race due to its nature as a community-oriented event.
