SafeNest 8th Annual Run for Hope 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
About the Event
The 8th Annual Run for Hope returns on October 25th to the vibrant Sunset Park in Las Vegas. Nestled at 2601 E Sunset Rd, this scenic course offers runners and walkers alike an unforgettable experience amidst lush green spaces. Race morning begins with a serene yet bustling atmosphere as participants gather from seven o'clock sharp. As dawn breaks over Las Vegas, temperatures hover around twenty-two degrees Celsius, creating ideal conditions for both the 5K timed race and the one-mile fun walk. This event is more than just a run; it's an opportunity to contribute to critical services at SafeNest, including emergency shelter, counseling, and pet support programs. The course design caters to all skill levels with its mix of gentle inclines and flat stretches over five kilometers. Runners will start their journey through Sunset Park’s well-maintained trails, enjoying a challenging yet rewarding experience on hard and dry surfaces. The one-mile fun walk is also available for those who prefer a shorter distance or want to participate alongside their pets. The event kicks off precisely at eight o'clock with the 5K timed race following five minutes later. Pet owners can bring their furry friends along, adding an extra layer of joy to the day. At nine fifteen, medal ceremonies will celebrate top performers across various categories. Weather conditions on race day are expected to be warm but comfortable, with temperatures ranging from sixteen degrees Celsius at sunrise to twenty-nine point two degrees Celsius midday. The low humidity and light winds ensure pleasant running conditions despite the warmth. Early registration is encouraged for Early Bird pricing until August 25th; visit https://raceroster.com/events/2026/130678/safenest-8th-annual-run-for-hope-5k-and-1-mile-fun-run to sign up.
