This event transcends just running; it's an opportunity to support critical services at SafeNest, including emergency shelter, counseling, and pet care programs. The course is meticulously designed to cater to all skill levels with a mix of gentle inclines and flat stretches over five kilometers. Runners will start their journey through Sunset Park’s well-maintained trails, enjoying challenging yet rewarding experiences on hard and dry surfaces. The one-mile fun walk offers an alternative for those preferring shorter distances or participating alongside pets. The event commences precisely at eight o'clock with the 5K timed race following five minutes later. Pet owners can bring their furry friends along to add extra joy to the day. At nine fifteen, medal ceremonies will honor top performers across various categories. Weather conditions on race day are expected to be warm but comfortable, ranging from sixteen degrees Celsius at sunrise to twenty-nine point two degrees Celsius midday.
