Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Switzerland, Ste-Croix and Les Rasses play host to an exhilarating sprint and super distance triathlon that challenges athletes with its varied terrain. The race begins at sunrise, as participants gather on the shores of Lac de Neuchâtel for a refreshing 750-meter swim in crystal-clear waters. After exiting the water, competitors transition onto their bikes to tackle a hilly 20-kilometer course through scenic vineyards and rolling hills that provide stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The route weaves past charming villages and historic landmarks, offering runners an immersive experience as they push themselves up steep climbs and coast down exhilarating descents. The run leg takes athletes on a winding path along the lakefront for 5 kilometers in the sprint distance or 10 kilometers for those taking part in the super distance. The trail hugs the shoreline with its soft sandy beaches, providing runners with an opportunity to cool off from their efforts while enjoying panoramic vistas of snow-capped mountains and shimmering water. Throughout the event, participants are treated to a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiastic supporters and volunteers who cheer them on every step of the way. With the backdrop of Switzerland's natural beauty and challenging course profiles, this triathlon is not just about crossing the finish line but also immersing oneself in the unique spirit of Ste-Croix and Les Rasses.
