Sammamish City Marathon

About the Event

Join us for the Sammamish City Marathon. New Course! Starting at Sammamish City Center (City Hall) running down the streets of Sammamish into the quaint neighborhoods for the home town feeling, through Soaring Eagle Park where you may encounter an owl, black bear, cougar, and/or eagle, then along Beaver Lake Boulevard to 228th and back to the start. Don't miss this home town classic! There will be water, Gatorade, Gel/Gu, firstaid on the course every 3 miles. Course is USATF certified for your BOSTON MARATHON qualifying time. Festive party celebration at Skyline High School at the conclusion of the event. Podium awards at Noon at the Skyline High School stage. Festive music and activities at the conclusion of the event. Parking is free at the City Center Town Hall Sammamish and Skyline High School. Full color, long sleeve, technical T-Shirts for all registrants and keep sake medallion and finishers certificate for all finishers. We want to thank the City of Sammamish, our sponsors, and King County Parks and Recreation and our first responders East-side Fire and Rescue and King County Sheriffs. Don't miss the excitement of Sammamish Running!

Parking at the Skyline High School and City Center (Town Hall). Included in your registration is Pasta Feed the night before at the Redmond Town Center. Take the Link Light Rail all the way from SEA-TAC airport to the Redmond Town Center. Must wear bib on front torso for the whole event (timing chip and tracker on the back) for your photo finish. Police and flaggers on the course for your safety. Call 911 in case of an emergency and race director for a sprained ankle. This year you will be able to track your athlete in real time. Marathoners do the loop twice.
