The Santiam Canyon River Run featuring three race distances: 10k Race, 5k Run/Walk, and 3k Run/Walk. It’s designed to cater to a variety of runners, from seasoned athletes to casual enthusiasts. The course is multi-surface, including sections of trail, pavement, and gravel, providing a diverse running experience. The event takes place in the picturesque setting of Stayton, with sections along the Santiam River. Participants will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the lush natural scenery as they push toward the finish line. Whether aiming for a personal best or simply looking to complete the course, the Santiam Canyon River Run is an excellent opportunity for runners to challenge themselves in a scenic environment. This will be a chipped and timed race provided by Athletic Timing. This race is hosted by Santiam Hospital & Clinics Foundation.

All races will begin and end at Snow Peak Brewing Company. Each finisher will receive a commemorative pint glass along with a coupon for a soda or beer from Snow Peak Brewing Co. Check in will begin at 8:00am for a prompt 9:30am race start.

About Stayton

Stayton is a city in Marion County, Oregon, United States, located 16 miles (26 km) southeast of the state capital, Salem, on Oregon Route 22. It is south of Sublimity and southeast of Aumsville. Located on the North Santiam River, Stayton is a regional agricultural and light manufacturing center. The population was 8,244 at the 2020 census. Established in 1872, it was incorporated in 1891. Stayton is part of the Salem Metropolitan Statistical Area.
