Shave Cross Mini Marathon 2026

The Shave Cross Mini Marathon invites runners to explore the picturesque landscapes of the Marshwood Vale, centered around the charming villages of Shave Cross and Pilsdon. This 5-mile race offers a scenic journey through rolling hills, winding country lanes, and expansive fields, providing participants with stunning vistas at every turn.
As you embark on this multi-terrain adventure, expect to encounter varied terrain that challenges both your stamina and agility. The route weaves its way through tranquil countryside settings, offering runners the chance to immerse themselves in nature's beauty while pushing their physical limits.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants will be greeted with a celebration of achievement. Awards are presented to the top male and female overall winners, as well as to the first-place under-16 competitor and veteran runners (male and female). All finishers receive commemorative medals in recognition of their accomplishment.
