SHE RUNS STRONG International Women’s Day 2027

Celebrate International Women’s Day 2027 with SHE RUNS STRONG, an empowering women-only trail run that honors strength and solidarity. On Saturday, March 6th, gather at Big G’s Gym on Plantation Road in Edgworth for a scenic 6KM journey through local trails.
This event is designed to cater to all levels of runners—whether you’re setting out on your first running adventure or looking to push yourself further, this race welcomes everyone with open arms. The course features well-marked paths and professional marshalling throughout, ensuring safety and support every step of the way. Official timing services will capture each participant’s personal best while a vibrant finish line awaits to celebrate your achievement.
The morning promises an uplifting atmosphere filled with camaraderie as women from all walks of life come together in pursuit of shared goals. Enjoy breathtaking views along the trail as you navigate through varied terrain, offering both challenges and rewards for every runner.
Registration is set at £30 per person, including access to a detailed GPX route file that will guide your training leading up to race day. All proceeds from this event will be generously donated to two important causes: The Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association (PSPA) and Scallywags Pre-school in Edgworth.
