Devon's Running Events invites you to join them for an unforgettable running experience at Shizaru Challenge Day 2, taking place on Sunday, October 10th, 2027. This unique event operates under the "TUGG" system—Turn Up Get Going—which means participants can arrive anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but must complete their final lap by 3:30 PM.
The course is a scenic 5.3-kilometer out-and-back route along an old disused train line, offering runners a mix of flat terrain on tarmac with picturesque views throughout the journey. The event welcomes all abilities—runners and walkers alike—and participants can choose to complete one lap or push themselves further by tackling up to fourteen laps within the designated timeframe.
Upon crossing the finish line, regardless of how many laps you've completed, every participant will be awarded a medal, celebrating your achievement as both a finisher and winner. The event's flexible schedule allows for personal pacing and goals, ensuring that everyone can participate at their own comfort level while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
With limited spaces available, it’s best to register early to secure your spot. If capacity is reached before you sign up, don’t worry—latecomers will still receive a bespoke medal from those on hand during the event.
