About the Event

Escape the summer heat with the annual Summer Run at Shonai Green Park! This beloved race offers something for runners of all levels and ages. Participants can choose from half marathon, relay, 10km, 5km, as well as a fun-filled kids' run and family event.
The course winds through lush greenery, offering cool breezes on hot summer mornings. After crossing the finish line, enjoy refreshing ice cream treats to help you recover. The highlight of this year's race is the highly anticipated BBQ party, where runners can gather with friends and families to share stories and savor delicious food under the warm sun.
Spaces are limited to 200 participants for an intimate and enjoyable experience. Entry fees vary by category: half marathon costs ¥4500; relay teams pay ¥3000 per person; 10km runners pay ¥3500; those running in the 5km race will be charged ¥2500; while kids' runs cost ¥1500 and family events (for two or three people) are priced at ¥2500 and ¥3500 respectively. Additional BBQ tickets can be purchased for ¥3,500 for those aged 14 years and above, and only ¥2,000 for children under the age of 13.
