Experience the thrill of Sol Riders LLC’s Adventure Bike Camp and Mountain Bike Camp, designed for young riders aged 5 to 16 years old. Set amidst the picturesque Valley Forge Trails, this camp offers an enriching blend of adventure and education. Participants will embark on exciting journeys along the Schuylkill River Trail before connecting with Arnold's Fun Complex. Here, they can enjoy a range of indoor activities including arts and crafts, games, puzzles, and even movie screenings or bowling sessions. The complex provides a safe haven for those days when weather conditions are less than ideal. Adventure Bike Camp focuses on off-road adventures through various trail types—gravel, paved paths, and beginner-friendly mountain bike trails at the Phoenixville Bike Park. Mountain Bike Camp caters to riders seeking more challenging terrain, with skill-appropriate mountain biking routes that include a mix of gravel, pavement, and singletrack sections. Camp highlights include: - Basic on-trail handling skills: controlled braking, shifting gears, steering, cornering, bike-body separation, balance. - Introduction to essential terminology related to bikes and maintenance. - On-the-bike games designed for skill development. - Rides through diverse terrains including grassy fields, paved trails (SRT), and mountain biking paths. Each day is packed with activities: - Coach-led demonstrations ensuring proper technique. - Skill sessions focused on safety and etiquette. - Historical explorations and educational hikes. - Artistic endeavors like painting and crafting. - Fun games both off the bike and while riding. What to Bring: - A well-fitted helmet in excellent condition, free from cracks or dents. - A mountain bike or hybrid with shifting gears, knobby tires (no slicks), a properly adjusted chain, and brakes that work smoothly. - At least two water bottles for hydration throughout the day. - Secure closed-toe shoes; avoid sandals, flip-flops, or Crocs. - Nutritious snacks—high sugar items are discouraged to maintain energy levels. Pricing: Half Day Bike Camp: $295 Full Day Bike Camp: $580 Extended Care is available from 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM for an additional fee of $85.
