Some Run returns to Seagoville, Texas on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event offers a variety of distances for everyone: the fast and flat 5K run, an easy walk or roll, and even a shuffle around Bruce Central Park's pond. Join us for the sixth annual Some Run! Race morning in Seagoville is typically mild with temperatures ranging from 17 to 28 degrees Celsius, making it comfortable but not too hot. The park will be bustling as runners prepare on the hard and dry surface of Bruce Central Park, located at 1801 N Hwy 175. Participants can expect a series of events leading up to race day, including registration from 6:15 am onwards. The Some Run has been running for six years now, raising funds for A-T Children’s Project and supporting their mission to find a cure for this rare genetic disease. In 2025, the event saw record-breaking participation numbers, with hundreds of runners coming together in Seagoville's community park. This year, organizers are aiming to surpass those figures once more. The course venue is Bruce Central Park, known for its well-maintained trails and scenic pond area. The race starts from the park gazebo at 8:05 am, with a 7:30 line-up for participants. A-T Children’s Project will be featured prominently through their Faces of A-T display, giving runners an opportunity to connect with those they are running in honor of. On race day, there will be plenty of aid stations along the route, ensuring that all participants have everything needed throughout the 5K run and walk, or the more leisurely shuffle. The weather on October 3 is expected to feel like 23 degrees Celsius with a light breeze, providing ideal conditions for running.
