On September 6th, 2026, the South Cheshire Harriers invite runners of all abilities to experience the scenic beauty and challenging terrain of South Cheshire at the annual South Cheshire 20 Mile Race. The event begins early in the morning at 9:00 AM from Shavington Leisure Centre in Crewe, marking the start of an exhilarating journey around South Cheshire's rolling hills and winding lanes. Runners will traverse approximately twenty miles over a single loop course, passing through charming hamlets like Weston, Englesea Brook, Betley, Wrinehill, Shraleybrook, Audley, Barthomley, and more before returning to the leisure centre.
The route is known for its frequent undulations and varied landscapes, providing both a test of endurance and an appreciation for the region's natural beauty.
