Space Pirate 100

The Space Pirate 100 returns to Port Canaveral, Florida on February 20th, 2027, offering a unique blend of adventure and endurance along the historic coastline. This event is limited to just 100 runners who will embark on an epic journey through the beautiful Florida Space Coast and Treasure Coast. Participants in this year's race include solo adventurers tackling the full marathon distance as well as teams competing in relay formats.
Race day begins early with a start location at Manatee Sanctuary Park, where the atmosphere is set to be electric as participants gather before dawn for the 6:00am kickoff. The park and surrounding areas offer scenic views of the coastline, providing runners with stunning vistas as they begin their journey southward towards Jensen Beach Park. Temperatures are expected to range between mild and comfortable conditions, ensuring that participants can focus on the challenge ahead without undue discomfort.
This year marks another milestone for Space Pirate 100, which continues its tradition of bringing together a diverse group of runners from across the country who share an appreciation for both history and adventure. Each finisher will earn their own unique Space Pirate Treasure Chest and Finisher's Buckle, commemorating their achievement in this one-of-a-kind race.

Runners should expect an elevation profile that includes gradual ascents and descents as they navigate the diverse landscape stretching along Florida’s storied coastline. Aid stations will be strategically placed throughout the route to provide necessary hydration and nutrition.
Weather on race day is expected to feature clear skies with comfortable temperatures ranging from 50°F to 62°F (10°C - 17°C), making for ideal running conditions without the risk of extreme heat or cold fronts. UV index levels will be moderate at around 3.6, meaning that runners should apply sunscreen and wear protective clothing.
