Located at 300 Howard Drive, the marina is minutes away from the Reno Tahoe Airport and features sandy beaches, volleyball courts, a fishing pier, veterans memorial, playgrounds, coffee shops, dog parks, and scenic walking paths. The course loop runs just under two miles around this picturesque venue, allowing participants to enjoy views of the marina’s waters while running or walking.
Since its inception, the Biggest Little Ultra has attracted runners from across Nevada and beyond for a unique endurance challenge in a beautiful setting. The course is paved and lighted, ensuring visibility and safety throughout its nearly two-mile loop around Sparks Marina. Participants can choose from various time options including 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, 24-hour, and a full 48-hour race. Fixed distance races include the challenging 50 mile (80.5K) and 100 mile (160.9K). The relay option allows up to six runners per team for a 6-hour challenge.
Starting Friday at 9:00 am, participants have ample time with no cutoffs except on Sunday morning when the event concludes at 9:00 am. Aid stations are strategically placed along the course to support endurance athletes throughout their chosen duration or distance.
