Spitfire Scramble

The Spitfire Scramble invites runners to push their limits over 24 hours of intense multi-terrain racing. Whether you choose to compete solo or join forces with up to seven teammates, this unique challenge will test your endurance and teamwork like no other event in the London area.
Each team's journey begins at midday when a designated 'squadron leader' starts off with a 5.75-mile lap around the course. The race continues non-stop until the following noon, requiring each squadron to maintain a single runner on the track at all times and ensure complete circuits before passing the baton.
As you navigate through the night, the event's demanding terrain will challenge your speed and stamina while reliance on torches illuminates both paths ahead and camaraderie among participants. Supporters are welcome to set up camp from Friday afternoon onwards, allowing ample time for familiarizing with the course layout and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere that builds as competitors gather.
Campers can enjoy complimentary camping facilities alongside a range of services including catering options, restroom access, hot showers, sports massages, and first aid stations throughout the event. The Spitfire Scramble promises an unforgettable experience blending physical challenge with community spirit.
