Spooky Dash 5K & Fun Run

Celebrate Halloween with the first-ever Spooky Dash 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, October 10, 2026! This exciting family-friendly event kicks off the Farmers Branch Fall Festival, offering runners and walkers of all ages a thrilling yet festive experience.
The race winds through the picturesque Mustang Station Arts & Culture District, where participants can enjoy scenic views while navigating charming streets adorned with Halloween decorations. Whether you're aiming for a personal record or simply out to have fun, this event promises an unforgettable journey filled with spooky charm and community spirit.
Costumes are highly encouraged as runners and spectators alike transform into their favorite ghouls and goblins. Along the route, families can look forward to engaging activities that make every step of the race a memorable adventure for everyone involved.
For those participating in the 5K event, you'll receive a short-sleeve tech shirt, a finisher medal, a drawstring bag, and a custom bib. The 5K is fully timed, ensuring an accurate record of your performance on this exciting course. Fun Run participants will also get their own short-sleeve tech shirts, drawstring bags, and custom bibs to commemorate the event.
Pricing for both events includes all these perks but does not cover Race Roster's processing fee. Packet pickup is available at Farmers Branch Community Recreation Center from Thursday, October 8 through Friday, October 9 between 12 PM – 8 PM each day. On race day, no packet pick-up will be offered; however, on-site parking and volunteer assistance are provided to ensure a smooth experience.
