Located in the picturesque town of Langenordnach, just outside Titisee-Neustadt, this annual race offers runners a unique blend of scenic routes and competitive spirit. The event unfolds over several hours with various categories catering to different age groups. Registration for all races except the Bambini-lauf can be completed online via RaceResult until July 3, 2026. On-site registration is available up to half an hour before each race start time for those who haven't registered in advance. The day kicks off with the Bambini-lauf at 16:30 PM, followed by the Schülerlauf starting at 17:00 PM and concluding with the main event, a 10 km run that begins promptly at 17:30 PM. All races conclude back at the festival tent where awards are presented to winners of each category. The Bambini-lauf is designed for young runners aged under five years old, covering an enjoyable distance of 350 meters. Participants in this age group receive a start number and pay €3 upon registration. The Schülerlauf welcomes older children between ages six and eighteen with a course stretching to 1.5 kilometers. A small fee of €6 is required for advance sign-ups while on-site registrations cost slightly more at €8. The highlight of the day, however, is undoubtedly the 10 km Hauptlauf open to all runners aged over nineteen years old. This challenging route winds through Langenordnach's scenic landscapes and offers a competitive edge with special awards including the CUORE-Bergwertung around kilometer five and the Physio Chris Kötting Sprint-Wertung near kilometer eight. For those competing in the Hauptlauf, there are several categories to cater for all age ranges: U18 (2008-2010), U23 (2004-2007), Hauptklasse (1987-2003), Master (1977-1986) and Legenden (born 1976 or earlier). Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each category as well as for both sprint and hill climb awards. Post-race, all participants will receive a complimentary portion of pasta at the festival tent. This is an exclusive treat reserved only for those who have completed either the Schülerlauf or Hauptlauf. Additionally, water stations are strategically placed along the entire 10 km route ensuring runners stay hydrated throughout their journey while bananas provide quick energy boosts. Competitors can rest assured knowing that parking facilities and changing rooms will be available on-site at Langenordnach 3879822 in Titisee-Neustadt. Participants are reminded to adhere strictly to the traffic regulations during race day, ensuring everyone's safety as they enjoy this wonderful community event.
