About the Event

The Springhill Classic returns this year with an exciting race course and a mission to "GET MORE KIDS ON BIKES" within Fort Smith and its surrounding river valley communities. Organized by the ARNICA team, known as “River Valley Marshals,” the event promises a thrilling experience for all participants.
Registration begins early in the morning at 7:30am near the Start/Finish line where opening remarks and safety briefings will take place. Participants can look forward to complimentary refreshments including cheeseburgers, chips, water, and Coca-Cola products. Any extra food items will be available upon request with a small donation.
For younger racers in the 10 and Under category, the course consists of just two laps on an easy 2.8-mile loop close to the Pit Zone, making it perfect for cheering them along. The older racers aged between 11-14 will find familiar terrain with some added twists, bringing the total distance up to a challenging 4.4 miles.
Those venturing further will tackle the full course of 6.44 miles. For experienced participants, this may seem shorter than previous years due to recent construction. A new bridge over the Arkansas River has reduced the original route by approximately two miles, offering a more efficient and perhaps less strenuous ride for seasoned cyclists.
Merchandise is also available online only; River Valley Marshal socks can be purchased at any price point until stock runs out. For those who register before July 8th, event T-shirts are included in the registration fee, allowing you to pick them up on race day. After this date, shirts ordered will arrive with your next AMBCS race package.
NICA student athletes can benefit from a special discount by using code SC-26-NICA when registering prior to July 1st.
