Spunch! invites all adventure seekers to embark on an exciting mini-adventure that promises fun, friendliness, and safety for runners and walkers alike. This unique treasure hunt offers participants the flexibility to choose their preferred distance, ranging from 3 kilometers to a more challenging 33 kilometers. The event is designed with various course durations of 60 minutes, 120 minutes, or 180 minutes, allowing you to select your ideal pace and time commitment on the day. The adventure unfolds in Chester's picturesque countryside north of the city center, featuring extensive paths and trails within Countess of Chester Country Park and Mollington Grange. The terrain is mostly off-road with a gentle undulation, making it accessible for all skill levels while still offering an engaging challenge. Participants can navigate through tarmac pathways and dirt trails to collect as many SpunchPoints as possible using the MapRun app on their smartphones or wearables. Registration opens at 1pm, giving you ample time to sign up before starting your journey anytime between 1pm and 3pm. The event is perfect for solo adventurers, pairs, or groups of three or more friends and family members. Should you prefer not to go alone, organizers can help pair participants on the day. Additionally, dogs are welcome but must be kept under control at all times. The Little Owl in Cousens Way serves as the central hub for both days of this Chester City Weekender event. This venue offers a warm welcome with food and drinks available throughout the weekend. On Saturday, attendees can enjoy a special Spunchers Burger deal complete with chips and drink for £15. The area is also child-friendly, featuring an outdoor play space. Located just minutes from major highways like M56 J15 and M53 J12, as well as within walking distance of Bache Train Station, the event venue ensures easy access by car or public transport. Nearby accommodations include a Premier Inn adjacent to the train station for those planning overnight stays. Join us in Chester this weekend to explore new paths and discover hidden gems while enjoying an unforgettable day out with friends and family. The Spunch adventure awaits!

About Chester
Learn more about the host city, Chester.
Chester is a very pretty and historic English city on the river Dee, and the county town (capital) of the North-Western county of Cheshire. Although maybe not worth a whole holiday, it's well worth a day or overnight trip to see the Roman ruins and medieval city centre. This fine city is also the gateway to North Wales, as it stands directly on the Anglo-Welsh border.
