🎄SPUNCH SHREWSBURY SY2 FOR HOSPICE!

Spunch! is an exciting, family-friendly mini-adventure that invites participants to explore the vibrant landscapes around Shrewsbury on December 6, 2026. This unique treasure hunt offers something for everyone, regardless of age or experience level, and welcomes both locals and newcomers alike.
Participants can choose between run or walk options ranging from a leisurely stroll over 2 kilometers up to an ambitious trek spanning 22 kilometers. The event features three course durations: 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes, allowing you to tailor your adventure based on the time available.
The Spunch! series is organized in collaboration with the White Horse Inn and Shropshire Shufflers, all proceeds from which will benefit Severn Hospice. Every entry includes a £5 donation directly supporting this worthy cause. Additionally, there's a festive Christmas Fayre at the venue throughout the day offering further opportunities to contribute through cake sales and other activities.
Using your smartphone or smartwatch with MapRun technology, you'll navigate over 60 SpunchPoints scattered across Shrewsbury’s diverse terrain. The event spans both urban areas like Belle Vue and Cherry Orchard as well as picturesque natural settings such as the Rea Brook valley. Expect a mix of terrains from smooth tarmac paths to rugged off-road trails.
The adventure begins at the White Horse Inn on Wenlock Road, with registration opening at noon and start times available between 12pm and 2:30pm for various course lengths. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor spaces that are welcoming to children and pets (dogs must be kept on a lead).
Participants can enjoy drinks and food from the White Horse Inn’s facilities while taking advantage of services such as bag drop, restrooms, and race results all located conveniently nearby.
