St. Florian Oktoberfest 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

Celebrate the inaugural Wilson Oktoberfest 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, October 3rd, as part of St. Florian's annual fall festival in Alabama. This unique race offers something for everyone—competitive runners will enjoy a scenic and challenging course, while casual walkers and families can participate in the festive one-mile fun run.
The event benefits Wilson Cross Country and Track & Field programs by raising funds to support equipment, uniforms, travel opportunities, and resources for student-athletes. Registration fees cover an official event t-shirt and custom finisher medal for both races. The 5K race is chip-timed, ensuring accurate results, while the one-mile fun run welcomes all ages with a relaxed pace.
Race day begins at 7:30 AM with the start of the 5K Run/Walk, followed by the 1-Mile Fun Run at 8:30 AM. Awards will be presented to top finishers in various categories starting promptly at 9:00 AM. Participants can look forward to receiving their race results via email within a day after crossing the finish line.
St. Florian Oktoberfest Grounds provide an ideal setting for this event, surrounded by autumn foliage and festive activities during one of North Alabama's most beloved fall celebrations. Packet pickup is available at St. Florian Town Hall on Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM or on race day starting at 6:00 AM.
