St Michael's Hospice Run

Join the Run for St Michael's Hospice on Sunday, January 31st at 10:30am along Bexhill-on-Sea’s scenic coastline. This charity run offers both a 5k and a 10k route, giving runners of all abilities an opportunity to support vital local hospice care.
The event takes place against the backdrop of undulating pavement paths that wind through picturesque coastal scenery. Participants will enjoy stunning views of the seafront as they navigate this beautiful stretch of East Sussex’s shoreline. Whether you're training for a spring marathon or simply looking for a feel-good challenge, this run provides an ideal setting to achieve your goals while contributing to a meaningful cause.
St Michael's Hospice supports individuals and families dealing with life-limiting illnesses across Hastings and Rother by offering specialist palliative care at home, in the hospice itself, through outpatient appointments, and via their Wellbeing Programme. Your participation helps ensure that more people receive the compassionate care they need during challenging times.
All finishers will be awarded a bespoke medal to commemorate their achievement, while registered runners will also receive a free St Michael’s Hospice (SMH) Running Vest as part of their entry package. Trophies are available for race winners in both distances.
The event promises a friendly and inclusive atmosphere that encourages all participants to come together for the common goal of supporting local hospice care. With its spring training-friendly terrain, this run offers more than just physical exercise; it provides an uplifting experience with significant personal and community impact.
On-the-day entry fees are £30 for the 10k route and £25 for the 5k option, but please note that refunds will not be issued. Registered participants will receive detailed information about race day logistics prior to the event date.
