Join Us for the Butte St. Patrick’s Day Color Run!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a vibrant and healthy activity for youth, families, and the community!

Event Date: Tuesday, March 17, 2026
Location: Stodden Park, Butte, MT
Event Start Time: 3:00 PM (music, food, and activities begin)
Race Start Times:

1-Mile FUN RUN-4:00 PM

5K Run- 4:30 PM

Race Options:

1-Mile Fun Run: Perfect for a quick, colorful stroll or jog.
5K Course: A more challenging course, but equally fun!
Virtual Run Option: Can’t join us in person? Participate virtually any time on March 17! Virtual participants can submit their times online after completing their run. T-shirts and color packs will be mailed or available for pickup if registration is completed by February 28, 2026.

Run, walk, or skip your way through the course while being adorned with brilliant color from our “color stations” along the way! Plus, enjoy food, music, and activities hosted by local students before and after the race.

Important Details:

All participants 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Guaranteed T-shirt: Register by February 28, 2026.
Race Packet Pickup: March 16th. 3105 Utah (Columbia Garden’s Carousel). 2PM-6PM. Race Day Pick Up: March 17. Event Location (Stodden Park pavilion between Ridge Waters & Carousel) at 12:00 PM.
Please pick up your materials NO later than 30 minutes prior to your race to help ensure a smooth start.

About Butte

Butte is one of the major towns in Montana, with a population of 35,000 (2020). In its heyday between the late 19th century and about 1920, it was one of the largest and most notorious copper boomtowns in the American West, home to hundreds of saloons and a famous red-light district.
