St Piran's Revenge - Trail 10K

On December 20, 2026, trail runners are invited to experience the challenging and scenic terrain of Perranporth as part of the St Piran’s Revenge 10km race. This year's course takes a new twist with more dunes and increased elevation – over 1000 feet in total ascent! The route winds through the beach, coastal paths, and sandy dunes that are designated areas for conservation by Natural England.
Participants will encounter both rapid descents along the rugged coastline and steep ascents through undulating terrain. Runners must adhere to the marked course to protect the delicate ecosystem of this Special Site of Scientific Interest and Special Area of Conservation. The race is part of Cornwall's Multi-Terrain Running Series, known for its unique courses that challenge even the most seasoned athletes.
Before and after the race, runners can enjoy refreshments at local spots like the Watering Hole Pub or Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club (Race HQ). Entry fees are kept affordable to ensure accessibility. All finishers will receive a handcrafted medal, while podium winners in both male and female categories along with age group champions will be awarded sustainable trophies.
Toilets and parking facilities are available at the beach front or nearby Wheal Leisure car park. Race numbers can be picked up from 8:30 am onwards at Race HQ on race day. Runners should bring their own hydration packs as water is not provided along the course, with only end-of-race refreshments offered.
Join us for an unforgettable run in one of Cornwall's most beautiful and protected landscapes!
