For the Toussaint school holiday, the Regional Cycling Committee of Bourgogne Franche-Comté is organizing a cyclo-cross training camp at the CREPS facility in Dijon. This program aims to engage young cyclists aged 13 to 17 from U15 to U17 categories.
The camp accommodates up to twelve enthusiastic participants who are eager to learn and improve their skills, regardless of their current cycling level. The sessions will be led by experienced coaches Alexis Brodbeck and Éleonore Devallez, both certified in sports education (DEJEPS) with a background in physical education sciences (licence STAPS).
Participants can expect an enriching week filled with cyclo-cross activities tailored to the group's skill levels, fatigue status, and weather conditions. Prior to arrival, campers should ensure their bicycles are in good working order and bring essential repair tools such as three spare tubes, a multi-tool kit, and a cleaning cloth.
The training sessions will take place at CREPS Dijon (21000), offering participants comfortable accommodation with shared rooms for two. The camp provides full board, ensuring meals are served daily in the self-service cafeteria.
In addition to comprehensive instruction on cyclo-cross techniques and racing strategies, this program includes a focus on personal development through group activities that foster camaraderie among young athletes. Participants will enjoy local cuisine during their stay, enhancing both physical well-being and cultural appreciation of the region.
Registrations open on September 7, 2026, at 9:00 AM with limited spots available until October 11, 2026, at midnight. The fee for this two-day camp is €200, which covers all meals, accommodation, and sports activities during the training period.
