The event begins at 9:00 a.m. when over 1,000 runners take off in the area’s largest run/walk – the Freedom 5K . The Lima Area Concert Band will perform at 8:00 p.m. in the Rotary Pavilion in Faurot Park and the areas largest fireworks display will follow around 10:00 p.m. Medals will go to the top three finishers in each age category.
Race starts in Faurot Park on S Cole St near the intersection of Lakewood Ave.
Freedom 5K: $20 through June 4th and $25 after June 4th, includes t-shirt if registered by June 15th
Race day registration is 7-9am with the race starting at 9.
Awards will be given for the following age groups: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
