Stow Bike for the Woods 2026

Experience the beauty and tranquility of the Massachusetts countryside at the Stow Bike for the Woods, a family-oriented cycling event that winds through picturesque towns. Choose from routes ranging between 5 to 64 miles, suitable for all skill levels.
The adventure commences on Hartley Road in Stow, with registration opening early at 8:00 am and the event starting precisely at 9:00 am. Free parking is available nearby; simply enter "Hartley Road, Stow, MA" into your GPS to find your way. For those who miss the initial spot, an alternative entrance via Great Road allows easy access after parking.
Kick off your ride with a hearty breakfast and refreshments provided at the start line. Enjoy bagels, bananas, homemade pastries, as well as coffee and water—all generously sponsored by local businesses like Trader Joe's, DDK Coffee Shop, Bagels Plus, Bolton Bean, and Carver Hill Orchard.
Fees for this event are $25 per adult or $15 per child aged 12 and under with a family cap of $55. Day-of-ride registration costs $30 per adult and $20 per child, with the same family maximums applying. Note that cash and checks are accepted on the day; no credit cards will be processed.
Should weather conditions pose a threat to safety, the event may need to cancel. Any such decision will be communicated via bikeforthewoods.org by 6:00 am on the morning of the ride. Your support helps preserve open spaces in Stow through contributions to the Stow Conservation Trust.
