Strawberry Fields Forever

Strawberry Island. Lewis and Clark named this historic area. The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Strawberry Fields Forever returns on Saturday, June 20, 2026, starting at the North Bonneville Ball Fields in North Bonneville, Washington. Choose 100 miles (16 loops, 30‑hour limit), 100k (10 loops), 50k (5 loops), or 10k (1 loop). All long distances start at 8:00 AM. 10k starts at 9:00 AM. Dirt and gravel trails through field, forest, and along the majestic Columbia River. Roughly 200 ft elevation gain and loss per loop. Single aid station at the start/finish (every 6.2 miles) with peanut butter strawberry jam sandwiches, water, electrolyte, sports bars, and pizza. Runners can set up a tent, change gear, or nap. • North Bonneville Ball Fields, North Bonneville, WA — in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area
• Course managed by the Corps of Engineers
• Dirt trail and graveled trail through field, forest, and along the Columbia River
• Three bathrooms on course, plus a small detour to a fourth bathroom
• Lewis and Clark named this historic area "Strawberry Island" — wild strawberries possible, but not guaranteed

Course Details — 6.2 Mile Loop:

• Start/finish at the ball fields — chip mat counts each lap
• Single aid station at start/finish (accessible every 6.2 miles)
• Approximately 200 ft elevation gain and 200 ft loss per loop
• Runners can set up a tent at the park for gear changes, sleep, or rest
• "Great opportunity to test all your gear or your stamina with limited consequences!"

Aid Station & Fuel:

• Peanut butter strawberry jam sandwiches (signature item — the "Strawberry" theme)
• Water, electrolyte drinks, sports bars, pizza, and other usual aid station fare
• Food and drink available for the entire 30 hours
