3rd Annual Stronger Together Pink Out 5K & Expo Join Pink Springs for the 3rd Annual Stronger Together Pink Out 5K & Pink Out Expo! When: October 10, 2026- 8:00 AM Where: Zero Stone Park- 400 S. Nelson Street, Fort Stockton, Texas 79735 This community event brings together survivors, families, friends, healthcare professionals, businesses, and organizations to raise breast cancer awareness, promote early detection, and support those affected by breast cancer. New for 2026: Pink Out Expo We're excited to introduce the Pink Out Expo, a community resource fair featuring healthcare providers, wellness organizations, support services, local businesses, and educational resources focused on breast health and overall well-being. Expo Time: 9:00 AM-12:00 AM Lace Up for the 1 in 8 Our 2026 theme is "Lace Up for the 1 in 8!" We encourage participants, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees to wear pink and stand in support of the 1 in 8 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Event Highlights Kids Dash 2.5K (Timed Event) 5K Run (Timed Event) 2.5K Walk Pink Out Expo Pink Out Lane Tribute Display Survivor Recognition Best Dressed Awards Each participant will receive an event race bag and premium finisher medal. The first 50 registered participants will receive a free race shirt (short sleeve only) and an email confirmation. Additional race shirts may be purchased through the Race Store & on race day while supplies last. Survivors participate for FREE, will receive a special race shirt, and will be recognized during the event as we celebrate their courage, resilience, and hope. Survivors will be recognized during the awards portion of our event. Please register by September 25, 2026 to guarantee your shirt size. Making an Impact All proceeds benefit Pink Springs, a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local individuals and families affected by breast cancer while expanding breast health education and awareness throughout Pecos County. Whether you run, walk, volunteer, sponsor, visit the Expo, or simply come to show your support, you'll be helping make a difference right here in our community. We Are Stronger Together! Nelson Street, Fort Stockton, TX 79735 Start Time 8:00 AM Race Categories Kids Dash 2.5K (Timed Event) Ages 13 & Under 5K Run (Timed Event) Age Categories: 14–19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over 2.5K Walk Awards Kids Dash 2.5K Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Finishers. 5K Run Overall Male and Overall Female Winners Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Finishers (in each age division) Important Details Chip-Timed Event- Race against the clock-every second is professionally timed. Bib Requirement- To ensure accurate timing, securely attach you rib to the front of your shirt. Water Stations- Water stations will be provided along the course route and at finish line. Don't forget to hydrate! Parking surrounding the Courthouse and Zero Stone Park will be reserved for Pink Out Expo participants, vendors, and event operations. ***SPECIAL RACE WEEK EVENT*** Courthouse Lighting Ceremony Join us as we kick off Pink Out 5K & Expo Race Week with our annual Courthouse Lighting Ceremony. When: Sunday, October 4 2026 Where: Pecos County Courthouse Steps (James Street Entrance) Time: 6:30 PM This special evening honors breast cancer survivors, remembers those we have lost, and recognizes the strength, courage, and hope of everyone impacted by breast cancer. Together, we will light the Pecos County Courthouse pink as a symbol of awareness, remembrance, and community support. We invite the community to wear pink and join us as we begin a week dedicated to honoring, remembering, and standing together in the fight against breast cancer. Refund Policy All registration fees are non-refundable. By registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. Event Cancellation Policy In the event the race is canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of Pink Springs or the Race Director including but not limited to severe weather, unsafe conditions, natural disasters, public health concerns, or local, state, or national emergencies—refunds will not be issued. Should the event be canceled, participants will be notified of race packet pickup details. Race packets, including event T-shirts (if applicable), will be available for pickup at a designated location.
