Starting early with the half marathon walk at 8:30 am, participants will be greeted by supportive crowds cheering them on along the route. By 10:00 am, the atmosphere shifts as the 5 km race commences, offering a shorter yet equally rewarding experience for those seeking to complete their run in less time.
The course weaves through picturesque landscapes and vibrant neighborhoods, providing runners with a memorable journey that contributes directly to supporting cross-country running students at Laurentian University and Cambrian College. Over the years, this event has successfully raised more than $250,000 for these student athletes, ensuring they have access to top-notch training facilities and resources.
