About the Event

Embark on an unforgettable running adventure through the UNESCO World Heritage site of Sundarbans, located in Jharkhali, West Bengal. The SUNDARBAN TIGER MARATHON celebrates National Wildlife Week with categories ranging from a challenging 42KM marathon to shorter options like 21KM, 10KM, and even a family-friendly 5KM fun run for all ages.
Participants will traverse the vast mangrove delta, home to the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. The event mascot "SHERA" symbolizes conservation efforts aimed at protecting both tigers and their natural habitat while also promoting environmental awareness such as reducing plastic use and combating human trafficking.
All runners receive a dry-fit race T-shirt, finisher medal, refreshments along the course, and an e-certificate upon completion. Top three finishers in each category—42KM, 21KM, 10KM, and 5KM—are awarded trophies with prizes, while the top participants in the 2K fun run receive special recognition as well.
