Experience a unique running adventure through Montour Wildlife State Park, where history meets nature. This scenic 5K course winds through the grounds of a once-thriving town, now reclaimed as a wildlife habitat. As you run, you'll be immersed by the river wildlife and forest that is has been mostly forgotten. Off the beaten path, the Sunken City Trail follows dirt and asphalt roads will little to no traffic. The actual town of Montour experienced major flooding which ultimately led to its obscurity in history. The link to the relevant race website is below.
