Welcome to the 2026 Sunrise DH Series Finale! Race participants will be let off at one-minute intervals, ensuring a smooth start. A special rule applies to racers aged between 6 and 10; their parents are allowed to follow behind but must stay clear of the laser beams marking the starting and finishing lines. Before race day, all entrants receive an email on Thursday night with detailed instructions for packet pickup and course information. Season pass holders who decide to participate will see immediate adjustments in their registration fees based on the updated pricing structure: those over 15 years old pay $165 but get a quick refund of $45; racers aged 11 to 14 pay $120, receiving an instant $20 back. The youngest participants, ages 6 to 10, benefit from the lowest fee at just $40. This series is designed for serious competitors who must participate in at least three races to qualify. The ultimate goal is to accumulate points and secure a position based on your best performances. Points are awarded as follows: first place gets 200 points, with each subsequent finisher earning progressively fewer points until one point for those who do not finish (DNF). In the event of tied scores, the most recent race's top placement will determine the winner. Competitors must compete in all three qualifying rounds to be eligible for a series position. Importantly, if you upgrade your category during the season, any points earned previously do not carry over. The final round is crucial as it counts towards both individual and overall standings. The 2026 Sunrise DH Series concludes with a cash purse sponsored by Ride Dialed, rewarding top male and female professionals in the Pro series: $1,000 for first place, $350 for second, and $150 for third. Located within the White Mountains of Arizona and surrounded by the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, Greer is the highest town in the state at an elevation of approximately 8,400 feet.
