About the Event

Welcome to the exhilarating world of Sunrise DH Series! This race promises an unforgettable experience for all participants. Racers will be let go at one-minute intervals, ensuring fair competition and minimizing the risk of collisions on this challenging downhill terrain.
For young racers aged 6 to 10, a special rule allows their parents to ride behind them during the race. However, it’s crucial that parents do not cross the laser beam lines at either end; this ensures safety for all competitors.
All participants will receive detailed packet pickup instructions via email on Thursday night preceding the event, along with essential information about the course layout and any necessary preparations.
Special incentives await those who sign up early: Racers aged 15 and older can enjoy an immediate $45 refund when they register at the listed price of $165. For younger racers in the 11 to 14 age bracket, a $20 refund is provided upon payment of $120. It’s important to note that those aged 6 to 10 do not qualify for refunds as their entry fees are already significantly discounted at just $40.
The Sunrise DH Series offers thrilling competition across multiple rounds in 2026, with a minimum requirement of three races to secure qualification. The ultimate goal is clear: accumulate the most points by the end of the series finals!
Here’s how point accumulation works:
- First place earns you an impressive 200 points.
- Each subsequent position sees your score decrease down to just one point for those who do not finish (DNF).
In case of a tie, the best performance at the latest event will determine the winner. Competitors must participate in the final round if they wish to secure any series position.
While upgrading to higher categories during the season is an option, remember that points earned from lower categories don’t carry over into your new category ranking.
The race concludes with a high-stakes finale where the best rounds count towards overall standing. To be eligible for this prestigious event and its exciting prizes, you must compete in at least three races throughout the series.
Sunrise DH Series is proud to partner with Ride Dialed as our title sponsor. They are committed to recognizing excellence by awarding cash purses: $1,000 to the Men’s Pro winner, $350 for second place, and $150 for third. The same prize structure applies to Women’s Pro winners.
