TBR Chase the Turkey 5K

On November 14, 2026, runners are invited to participate in the second annual TBR Chase the Turkey 5K hosted by Tifton's Best Running. This race offers participants an opportunity to explore historic downtown Tifton and its charming neighborhoods while enjoying a festive fall atmosphere.
The event kicks off at City Hall with a scenic route that winds through picturesque streets, offering runners glimpses of local landmarks and vibrant community scenes. The course is designed for all skill levels, ensuring an enjoyable run for both seasoned athletes and beginners alike. After crossing the finish line back at City Hall, participants can look forward to receiving their race packets which include a stylish dry-fit shirt.
Following the race, attendees will have the chance to celebrate with awards ceremonies recognizing top male and female overall winners as well as first-place masters runners in various age categories from 10-under through 60+. Age group trophies for both males and females are awarded across multiple divisions, making sure that every runner has a chance at winning.
Post-race festivities continue with the Downtown Tifton Fall Farmers Market where participants can enjoy local produce and artisanal goods. Additionally, HOKA will be on site showcasing their latest footwear offerings, providing runners an opportunity to find the perfect pair for future races or training runs.
Race packet pick-up is available ahead of time at TBR's store located at 218 Main Street in Tifton, GA from November 13th, 2026 between 10am and 6pm. Don't miss out on this exciting event that combines fitness with community spirit and the joy of giving thanks through running.
