The TedDriven Overland Ultra Relay (TOUR) invites runners back to an era of pure joy and adventure, where running was about more than just competition. This three-day stage relay race through the stunning landscapes of North Central Washington State is a celebration of camaraderie and exploration. Teams consist of up to eight members who will navigate approximately 75 miles each day across singletrack trails, logging roads, and scenic pavement over three distinct routes. With no chip timing or digital maps in sight, teams rely on traditional methods—printed maps and elevation guides—to find their way through the rugged terrain. This format ensures safety while fostering a sense of community among participants. Day 1 takes runners from Leavenworth to explore alpine forests, mountain trails, and stunning ridgelines. On Day 2, Cashmere offers rolling orchards and vineyards before transitioning into more challenging foothills. The final day sees teams traversing remote terrain en route to Lake Chelan’s shores for a breathtaking finish. Each evening, participants regroup in the vibrant mountain towns of North Central Washington, sharing stories around campfires or at team gatherings. These moments create lasting bonds among runners and volunteers alike. The TOUR is designed with both competitive and casual teams in mind, offering an old-school navigation challenge that encourages map reading skills while maintaining a laid-back atmosphere. Entry fees cover finisher awards, event photos, captain’s dinners, post-race celebrations, medical support on course daily, portable toilets at designated areas, and more. A portion of the proceeds from this unique adventure supports cancer research initiatives as well as local trail maintenance projects aimed at enhancing outdoor recreation access in Washington State. Join the TOUR to challenge yourself physically while embracing a spirit of fun and discovery. Experience one of the most breathtaking regions in the Pacific Northwest and become part of an event that celebrates running’s true essence—joy, camaraderie, and adventure. The confirmed race date for this edition is June 18, 2027.
