This year marks the third installment of this beloved race series, and organizers are determined to make it bigger and better by offering special pricing across all distances—just $45 gets you entry into any event from a 4-mile loop to a challenging 50K ultra.
Cane Creek Park's diverse trail system offers something for everyone. For newcomers looking to explore the trails, the 4 Miler provides an easy introduction with smooth and fast sections mixed in with some technical terrain. The 8 Miler builds on this experience by adding more elevation gain and varied surfaces, ensuring a well-rounded adventure.
For those seeking longer distances, the 25K route offers a comprehensive tour of Cane Creek's trails, featuring rocky paths, creek crossings, steep climbs, and scenic descents over approximately 15.5 miles. Runners will encounter two aid stations multiple times throughout their journey, with an eight-hour cutoff to ensure safety.
The ultimate challenge lies in the 50K event, which doubles up on all that Cane Creek has to offer. Participants complete two laps of the 25K route, experiencing a full day out on the trails under a ten-hour time limit. All runners must start their second lap by noon and hit key checkpoints for safety reasons.
Regardless of distance chosen, participants will enjoy post-race amenities such as a cookout lunch featuring burgers and hot dogs at designated rest areas along the course. Spectators are encouraged to bring canopies and chairs to cheer on runners throughout the morning festivities.
