Terryville Fire Department 5K Run/Walk 2026

Join the Terryville Fire Department for their annual "Stop, Drop & Run" 5K on Sunday, October 17, 2026. This family-friendly run/walk begins at 9AM sharp from Station #2 located at 688 Old Town Road in Port Jefferson Station, NY.
Participants can look forward to a scenic and flat course that winds through the heart of Port Jefferson Station, offering runners and walkers alike the chance to enjoy the vibrant community atmosphere. As you cross the finish line, be sure to stop by The Running Egg food truck for some delicious breakfast treats—whether it's pancakes or eggs benedict, there’s something to satisfy every craving.
For those interested in enhancing their post-race recovery, Stretch Zone of Miller Place will have a tent set up at the finish offering free assisted stretches. This is an excellent opportunity to cool down and start your recovery process right away after completing your run.
To keep you energized throughout the day, ALatte Coffee Company’s beautifully restored coffee trailer will be on site providing handcrafted specialty coffees and refreshing iced drinks. Whether you need a pre-race boost or a post-race pick-me-up, their menu has something for everyone to enjoy.
