Immerse yourself in four days of uninterrupted trail running through Rocky Point’s pine barrens on Long Island. This unique endurance challenge features a single, 10.48-mile loop that you can run as many times as your chosen distance requires — from the shortest option at just 10 miles to an epic 150-mile adventure. The course is open Friday evening through Monday morning, giving runners ample time and freedom to complete their distances under a generous cut-off of Monday at 6 AM. With minimal outside world interaction, you'll be fully immersed in nature throughout the day and night, with only two well-stocked aid stations offering Skratch Labs hydration mix along with PB&J sandwiches, pretzels, chips, candy, fruit, broth, pierogies, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and more. Special requests can also be accommodated. Crews are welcome at both aid station locations — North Country (Start/Finish) and Whiskey Girl — providing essential support throughout the event. Pacers must wear pacer bracelets and sign waivers; they are allowed for up to 12 hours or during dark hours, whichever comes first. For the longest distance of 150 miles, participants must complete at least one lap on Friday night before using a pacer. Tesla Weekend is an opportunity not only to challenge yourself but also to contribute by volunteering in various roles such as aid station shifts, course marshals, kitchen duty, parking assistance, packet pickup, and sweepers. Volunteer hours earn race credit for future Happily Running events. The event schedule includes start times on Friday at 6 PM for the 150-mile distance, Saturday morning starts for the 100-mile and 100K distances, followed by additional options throughout the day and night including a daytime 50K and nighttime 10-mile race. All runners are committed to finishing whatever distance they begin; there’s no dropping down — you either finish or receive a DNF. Experience the beauty of Rocky Point's pine barrens under starlit skies, during daylight hours, and everything in between. This event is designed for those who seek an immersive trail running experience with comprehensive support and flexibility built into every aspect. Join us at Tesla Weekend to push your limits while enjoying the serene wilderness of Long Island’s pine barrens.
