About the Event

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of London's Thames River on October 3, 2027, for an unforgettable running experience. The race series begins at the picturesque Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts HQ and follows the winding Thames Path towpath to Barnes, offering stunning views along the way.
The course is meticulously marked and well-supported with medical personnel stationed strategically from start to finish. Competitors on all three routes—10km, half marathon, and full marathon—will enjoy a flat and fast path that winds through iconic landmarks like Kew Gardens Car Park for the 10k route and Barnes Sports Club turnaround point for longer distances.
Runners will appreciate the well-stocked check points along their journey. CP2 at Kew Gardens provides essential hydration and energy boosts, while CP3 near Barnes ensures runners are equipped with everything they need to continue strong throughout the race.
The marathon course doubles back on itself twice, offering a unique challenge and rewarding views of Richmond's lush greenery and historic architecture. This trail run is not just about speed; it’s an opportunity to connect with nature and experience London from a different perspective.
Join runners from around the world as they tackle this scenic route along one of Britain's most celebrated waterways. Whether you're aiming for personal bests or simply enjoying the breathtaking scenery, the Thames Meander Race promises an unforgettable adventure on the banks of the River Thames.
