PLEASE NOTE: Registration will close at 12:00AM on Friday July 17 so we can organize materials for our runners. We do not offer day-of registration. The Richmond Trail Running Club is happy to host the fifth annual "Aliza Lapierre Fan Club Trail Race!” This is a volunteer-run charity event which celebrates our club mission: to provide an inclusive and welcoming space for runners to build community, challenge themselves, and explore local outdoor spaces. Profits from our event will be donated to provide area youth and families with affordable skiing and snowboarding lessons through the Cochran's Ski Area non-profit. The ALFC 50k will traverse approximately 8 miles of road and 23 miles of rugged trails, through Huntington, Starksboro, Hinesburg and Richmond. The course will be challenging, with over 5,000 feet of climbing. The ALFC 26k will traverse approximately 3 miles of road and 13 miles of rugged trails, through Huntington, Hinesburg and Richmond. The course will be challenging, with over 2,500 feet of climbing. The 50k begins at 7:00AM at Brewster-Pierce Elementary in Huntington. Participants have 10 hours to finish the course. The 26k begins at 10:00AM at Hayden Hill Road East in Hinesburg. Participants have 7 hours to finish the course. Aid stations will offer snacks and drinks about every 5-7 miles. Both races will finish at Cochran's Ski and Bike Area in Richmond. For more information, email richmondtrailrunners@gmail.com.
