Almost Athletes is excited to announce the return of the scenic Bugatti 10k, a challenging yet accessible course that winds through quiet rural roads near Prescott. The race begins and concludes at the historic venue of Prescott Speed Hill Climb, originally starting as a five-mile event from Gretton before evolving into its current form.
This certified 10k distance features chip timing by LuSH Timing, with clear kilometre markers along the route and a water station approximately halfway through. Runners will encounter an undulating terrain at both the beginning and end of the course, punctuated by a flat middle section that offers runners a brief respite from inclines.
The race is suitable for all levels of experience and fitness, ensuring everyone can enjoy this unique running event. All participants who cross the finish line receive commemorative medals to mark their achievement.
Race registration takes place at Race HQ (Bugatti Owners Club, Prescott Hill Speed Climb, GL52 9RD) from 5:45pm to 6:45pm on race day. After a brief orientation session starting at 6:45pm, runners will make the short walk to the start line for their 7:00pm departure.
Participants are reminded that in-ear listening devices are not permitted during the event to ensure safety and clear communication with marshals. Toilets are available on-site but there is no provision for changing or storing personal belongings; participants should leave these items securely locked inside vehicles parked at Race HQ.
Post-race refreshments will be served at the Clubhouse bar, where prizes will also be awarded during a celebratory presentation ceremony. The awards recognize top finishers in both open and age categories as well as team achievements for male and female competitors. Note that no individual may claim more than one prize; if an athlete wins both an overall category and their respective age group award, the next eligible competitor in that age bracket will receive the age-group accolade instead.
