About the Event

Set against the backdrop of Staffordshire's picturesque Moorlands, the Meerbrook 15km Race promises runners an unforgettable experience on July 4th, 2027. Starting and finishing at the cozy Village Hall located in ST13 8SH, this race is a celebration of both endurance and scenic beauty.
The course winds through rolling hills and offers breathtaking views over the Cheshire Plain, challenging participants with varied terrain that includes stretches of gravel paths and winding trails. The Meerbrook village community plays an integral role in supporting runners throughout the event, creating a warm and encouraging atmosphere.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will receive a commemorative technical t-shirt available in several sizes to ensure comfort for everyone. Prizes are awarded to the top three overall finishers as well as age group winners, adding extra excitement to this competitive yet friendly race.
The Meerbrook Village Hall serves not only as the starting and finishing point but also offers essential facilities such as an indoor hall for bag drop and first aid services. Refreshments including breakfast and cakes will be available at the village hall before and after the event, providing a perfect opportunity to refuel and socialize with fellow runners.
For those interested in capturing their race memories professionally, free photos taken by Mick Hall will be made available online post-event.
Registration for the Meerbrook 15km Race is now open until June 9th, 2027, at £21 per participant. Join us on July 4th and immerse yourself in a day of running through stunning landscapes while enjoying the camaraderie of runners from across the region.
