Known as the 'Scotland of India' due to its hilly terrain reminiscent of Scotland's highlands, Coorg offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. Runners will traverse through some of the most scenic trails in Coorg, passing by three iconic peaks: Thadiandamol (the tallest peak), Kabbe, and Chomakund. The 65km ultra-distance course features an impressive elevation gain of 2818 meters, with a cut-off time of 14 hours for runners to complete the challenging route. For those seeking a more moderate challenge, there is also a 35km category with 1411m of total ascent and an 8-hour cutoff. The terrain varies from comfortable stone or mud trails winding through dense forests and coffee plantations, to steep grassy hills that can be treacherous due to slippery conditions. This diverse landscape provides both stunning views and a test of endurance for all participants. The shorter distances include a 11km course with an elevation gain of 710 meters and a cut-off time of three hours, as well as a fun-filled 3km race designed for families and beginners. Participants will experience the lush greenery and serene beauty of Coorg's coffee estates, offering breathtaking views at every turn.
