About the Event

Join the WOLF PACK for a 50 & 25K trail race along the Continental Divide (CDT) trail!

All races (25K & 50K) begin in Thompson Park, just south of beautiful Butte America in the Eagles Nest parking area. You get to run on the Milwaukee Road (Trail) through some historic train tunnels (headlamp recommended), Pipestone pass (6,348') across amazing train trestles, and the rolling trails of Thompson Park.

About Butte

Butte is one of the major towns in Montana, with a population of 35,000 (2020). In its heyday between the late 19th century and about 1920, it was one of the largest and most notorious copper boomtowns in the American West, home to hundreds of saloons and a famous red-light district.
