The Endurance Society Gritus

Join the Gritus 50 Mile Bike Race, an adventure that awaits on October 4, 2025, starting at Silver Towers Camp. Embark on this challenging journey through rugged terrain and breathtaking scenery, navigating your way with a Ride with GPS app or cue sheet—no directional signs will guide you along the route.
The course is approximately 75% unpaved, offering cyclists an authentic off-road experience as they ascend over 4,700 feet of vertical. Prepare for several substantial climbs that test both endurance and skill. The race takes place during peak foliage season, providing a vibrant backdrop to your ride with stunning views at every turn.
For those seeking less mileage but still looking for a challenge, the shorter 27-mile course is also available. This route features similar terrain challenges, including over 2,700 feet of vertical gain. Cyclists on this shorter version will not compete in category-specific top-three awards, ensuring an equal experience and focus on personal achievement.
Participants can expect one water stop along their journey to keep them hydrated during the race. Upon completing your ride, you'll receive a commemorative swag item from Endurance Society, and finishers will be honored with a special award. Top three in each category will also receive unique accolades for their efforts.
