Dive into the refreshing waters of 3 Sisters Waterski every Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 PM and Saturday morning from 8:30 AM to 10 AM, offering both social lapped swimming sessions. Located in Wigan, this venue is ideal for newcomers with its shallow lake area where you can stand comfortably throughout much of the water.
Parking at 3 Sisters Waterski is free, making it easy for everyone to join these relaxed swim sessions. With clear and clean waters, safety measures are a top priority; each session includes dedicated lifeguard coverage to ensure all participants feel secure while enjoying their time in the open lake.
Swimmers must be at least 12 years old to participate. For those aged 12-15, wearing both a swim float and a wetsuit is mandatory for safety reasons, with adult supervision recommended but not strictly required if accompanied by a competent swim buddy who can assist them during their session.
For swimmers over the age of 16, while wearing a wetsuit alone meets our requirements, we strongly advise using a swim float as well. Those swimming without a wetsuit must use a swim float to ensure visibility and safety in the water.
All participants are required to wear brightly colored swim caps for better visibility; dark-colored caps should be avoided. The venue also provides an area specifically designed for acclimatizing swimmers to cold temperatures, allowing them to safely dip into cooler waters if they choose without wearing a wetsuit.
We encourage all newcomers and less experienced swimmers to seek advice from our staff before participating in sessions where they might not feel fully confident or prepared. While the rules are set to ensure everyone's safety, we understand that each swimmer’s comfort level varies greatly based on their individual experience and ability levels.
