Distances include 100 miles, 100 km, 50 km (Saturday), 50 km (Sunday), 25 km (Saturday), 25 km (Sunday), 25 km Night, and 50 km Night. The course is 100% smooth single‑track and double‑track trail, featuring spring‑fed meadows, massive Pike Peak granite rocks, and sweeping mountain views.

All participants must follow event rules as provided by the organizer. The Great Divide Ultra has sold out three consecutive years. All 50 km and 25 km runners and crew (excluding Dark Divide night runners) are required to park at John Wesley Ranch, with a free shuttle (approximately 6 minutes) to the start/finish line running throughout the day. The event takes place entirely within Mueller State Park on smooth single/double‑track trails.

The Dark Divide Night Run begins at 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, as the sun sets. It offers runners the opportunity to share the trail with 100‑mile and 100‑km participants and practice night running.
