The Hallora Marathon Festival 2026 in Warragul, Victoria, Australia, takes place on December 6th. This year's event continues the tradition of fostering community engagement through running and cycling for all ages.
Starting at Western Park, this area transforms into a lively hub with music and MCs setting an enthusiastic tone well before race time. The park is known for its flat terrain and firm surface that are ideal for both walkers and runners. Spectators line up along the route to cheer on participants as they navigate through the neighborhood streets.
Since 2015, this event has grown in popularity with thousands of participants annually, raising vital funds for Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. It is a significant community effort aimed at promoting physical activity while supporting those affected by cancer.
The course venue features a mix of urban and residential streets within Warragul. The 24km run starts early morning on the main road before weaving through quieter neighborhoods, offering scenic views with minimal elevation changes. Aid stations are strategically placed to ensure runners stay hydrated throughout their journey. Additionally, there is a Kids Dash approximately half a mile long for younger participants.

This comfortable climate makes the event ideal for all levels of runners and walkers. Trail conditions are firm yet slightly soft, ensuring a smooth run despite any minor dampness.

Bibs can be picked up at Warragul Town Hall from December 4th to the morning of the race. Bring a photo ID for verification purposes. The start location is Western Park in Warragul. First-time participants should arrive prepared; there are age requirements, and additional information will be provided closer to event day.
