On Saturday, August 15, 2026, runners and walkers of all ages will gather at Woodshed Smokehouse on Riverfront Drive in Fort Worth for an exciting day of competition and community. The starting line is set to welcome participants from near and far with the first event kicking off at 7:45 AM with a one-mile fun run/walk followed closely by the main attraction, a scenic 5K race beginning at 8:00 AM.
Registration opens early on-site at Woodshed Smokehouse as of 6:30 AM for those who prefer to sign up in person. Early bird pricing is available online until July 31st with entry fees set at $25 for both the one-mile and 5K events, while kids under ten enjoy free admission regardless of registration date. For participants opting for race day registration, costs increase slightly: $30 on August 14th and reach a peak of $35 on event day itself.
Participants are encouraged to secure their running gear early through packet pickup at The Runner located in Pantego from Thursday to Friday, August 13-14 between 10 AM and 6 PM. Shirts for the race will only be guaranteed for those who register beforehand online or during this time frame.
The event is designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring awards across various age categories including overall male and female winners as well as master's divisions by decade from ages eight through eighty plus.
